Nanotubes Empowerment Solutions (NES) Consortium

Nanotubes Empowerment Solutions (NES) Consortium

The NES Consortium is interested in cooperation with other Research Groups, Institutes and suppliers of nanotubes, with the aim of contributing knowledge in the field and of improving the world we live in.

The Consortium was founded in 2009 as part of Israel’s MAGNET program. It is supported by the Office of the Chief Scientist in Israel’s Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.

The vision of the Consortium is to develop new, game-changing applications in various technological fields, based on the innovative use of nanotubes.

The NES Consortium comprises 13 Israeli companies and 11 Israeli academic groups. Among members are researchers from each of the leading universities in Israel, as well as from a broad range of companies -- from large public companies to young startups – who are currently working in nanotechnologies to develop unique applications.
